今次終於俾我哋捉住 Chok 魷魚季嘅尾巴！🦑😆

Chok 魷魚唔需要魚餌，只係用八爪勾放落海，然後不停咁 Chok、Chok、Chok！成船大約40人，最後都有一大盤成果，算係非常不錯！

最好玩其實係成個過程，船上不時傳來一陣陣驚喜嘅歡呼聲：

「我釣到啦！」
「我又有呀！」
「終於有啦！」🤣

歡呼聲此起彼落，真係好有氣氛！

Jason原本有4條，可惜其中一條拉上嚟途中走甩咗 😂
最後大家一齊分享即釣嘅新鮮魷魚，真係特別鮮甜美味！

以前喺香港，我哋耐唔耐都會租船出去 Chok 魷魚。記得旺季嗰陣真係好誇張，有時一 Chok 可以 兩條一齊上，我亦試過一個人一晚 Chok 到 30條！😆

Chok 魷魚就係咁——
未有嗰陣就不停話「幾時先有呀？」
一有上嚟就想再有一條！🤣

真係會 Chok 上癮㗎！🦑🦑🦑

25|🦑 Catching the Tail End of Squid Season

We just managed to catch the tail end of squid season! 🦑😆

Squid jigging doesn’t require any bait. You simply drop a multi-hook squid jig into the sea and keep jerking it up and down — again and again!

There were around 40 people on the boat, and by the end of the night, we had a pretty impressive tray of squid between us. 🎣🦑

Every now and then, you could hear excited voices from different parts of the boat:

“I got one!”
“Me too!”
“Finally, I caught one!” 🤣

The cheers kept coming from all around the boat, which made the whole experience even more fun!

I managed to catch 3 squid, while Jason originally caught 4 — although one escaped before he could get it safely onto the boat! 😂

At the end, everyone shared the freshly caught squid together. You really can’t beat seafood that fresh! 😋

Back when I lived in Hong Kong, we used to rent a boat and go squid jigging from time to time. During peak season, sometimes two squid would come up on the same jig, and I once managed to catch 30 squid all by myself in one night! 😆

That’s the thing about squid jigging…
Before you catch one, you keep wondering when you’ll finally get one.
Once you catch one, you immediately want another! 🤣

It really is addictive! 🦑🦑🦑
