08 | Jason’s Funny Stories | Sports Day
Written on October 5, 2018 · Hong Kong
It was the school’s annual Sports Day.
Jason has never been the sporty type, but it turns out he had his own unique perspective on the event.
Me: What place did you come in today?
Jason: Last place. Because I didn’t want to run a second time.
Me: What kind of logic is that? 😂😂😂
Jason: I didn’t want to go back down and race again. You packed lots of snacks for me, and I wanted to sit in the stands and eat them.
Me: No way! 😆
Jason: I don’t even like sports. If I come last, I don’t have to run again, I can stay in the stands, and I still have a whole bag of snacks. I’m really happy!
After hearing his explanation, I was completely speechless.
For most students, Sports Day is about winning medals and achieving their best results.
For Jason, however, the real goal was simple:
Secure a good seat in the stands and enjoy a bag full of snacks prepared by Mum. 🤣
