上緊英文堂時，突然被級別主任老師叫咗出去。

原來係因為整體成績優異，獲得學校頒發獎勵。🏆

作為媽媽，真係好開心。

我一直記得幼稚園老師曾經同我講過一句說話：

「你想佢成為大海中嘅一條小魚，定係河塘中嘅一條大魚？」

而今日，你已成為一隻有方向、有目標、有能力面對大海嘅海豚。🐬

Jason 一直都好清楚自己嘅強項同弱項，所以會為自己定下目標。

原本佢話今個暑假唔溫書，點知 Mock 成績派咗之後，今日出發返香港前，自己靜靜拎咗幾本書放入書包，準備暑假溫習。

呢一刻，我知道唔需要我催促。

因為真正推動佢前進嘅，已經係佢自己。

祈願你喺 GCSE 考試發揮應有水準，考到自己期望嘅成績。

我知道，你唔單止想自己做好，仲想陪伴身邊嘅同學，一齊努力、一齊迎戰、一齊成長。

成績固然重要，但擁有自律、有目標，並願意陪伴別人一同前行嘅心，先係最珍貴嘅收穫。

19 | Small Fish. Big Fish. Dolphin. 🐬

During his English lesson today, Jason was suddenly called out of class by the Head of Year.

It turned out he was being recognised for his outstanding overall academic performance. 🏆

As a mum, I couldn’t be prouder.

I still remember something his kindergarten teacher once said to me:

“Would you rather your child be a small fish in the vast ocean, or a big fish in a small pond?”

Today, I believe he has become something even better.

A dolphin. 🐬

A dolphin has direction, purpose, intelligence, and the courage to navigate the open sea.

Jason has always understood both his strengths and his weaknesses, and because of that, he sets goals for himself.

At first, he said he wasn’t going to study during the summer holidays. But after receiving his mock exam results, something changed.

Before we left for Hong Kong today, he quietly packed several textbooks into his backpack, ready to study over the summer.

At that moment, I realised I no longer needed to remind or push him.

Because the person motivating him now is himself.

My prayer is that you will perform at your very best in your GCSEs and achieve the results you have been working towards.

I also know that your goal isn’t just to succeed yourself—you want to encourage and support your classmates, so that together you can work hard, face the challenges ahead, and grow together.

Academic results are important, but even more valuable are self-discipline, a clear sense of purpose, and a willingness to walk alongside others.
