終於放暑假啦！今年我哋選擇返香港探親，亦想趁機帶 Jason 再去一次佢細個時經常去嘅地方行吓。原來佢已經有 4 年冇返過香港，相信今次會有好多不一樣嘅感受同回憶。

今次旅程亦係我哋同 Jason 爸爸最後一次短途旅行。九月之後，佢就會返香港生活，所以今次特別珍惜大家一齊相處嘅時間。

而今次仲有一位特別興奮嘅新旅伴——Choco 🐶💕
呢個係佢第一次出門旅行，全程開心到非常亢奮，真係笑死人！😆

Jason 一放學，我哋就把握時間，先去市中心食 琦興茶餐廳。因為之前見網上好多人都話好食，所以今次特登去試吓。

我仲介紹佢哋食乾炒牛河！真係好難得可以喺英國食到有「鑊氣」嘅乾炒牛河，大家食完都讚不絕口。😋

至於 Choco，見到我哋食得咁開心，仲以為自己都有份，所以興奮到不得了！我同 Jason 只好夾住佢坐，驚佢突然衝去搶食 😂

最後，當佢終於明白自己冇得食人類食物後，就失望地伏喺我身邊。見到佢個樣咁可憐，我唯有畀少少狗零食氹返佢開心啦～🐾

食完飯，我揸咗大約 3 個鐘車，終於到達巨石陣附近嘅酒店。酒店位置非常方便，而且只需要加 £25，就可以帶埋小狗一齊入住，對我哋嚟講真係好方便！

放低行李後，我哋就即刻帶埋 Choco 去巨石陣。

出發前，大家都做足功課：我問咗 ChatGPT，Jason Daddy 就問咗同事，大家都話其實唔一定要買票入場，只要喺外圍影相，已經足夠欣賞巨石陣嘅壯觀景色；除非真係好想近距離睇清楚石頭上嘅紋理啦 😆

我哋去到巨石陣時已經大約晚上 6:30，好彩係夏天，天色仲好光。

我哋沿住條路慢慢揸去外圍，見到附近已經泊咗好多露營車。相信有部分人真係嚟露營，但亦有部分人可能係以露營車為家，長期喺呢度生活。因為有啲車睇落已經泊咗好耐，好明顯係有人長住喺度。

Choco 一落車就即刻勁興奮！🐶💨
佢好似一隻牛咁，拉住我哋不停向前跑，完全感受到佢對第一次旅行嘅熱情！🤣

我哋沿住旁邊嘅小路慢慢行入巨石陣。途中見到地上有幾個小圓圈，好奇之下我又問咗 AI。

原來喺好耐以前，呢啲位置曾經有樹生長。當樹倒下之後，地上留下咗樹坑，而考古學家可以透過坑內嘅泥土同其他資料，推測當時嘅環境。所以之後就喺原來嘅位置留下記號。

夕陽慢慢西下，金黃色嘅陽光灑落喺巨石同草地上，令整個畫面都帶住一種懷舊又寧靜嘅感覺。🌅

而 Choco 就一直望住遠處嘅羊群，仲「狗」視眈眈咁望住佢哋……🤣🤣

「究竟食邊隻好呢？」😂🐑

咁靚嘅日落，我哋當然唔會錯過，把握時間影多啲相，留低呢一刻嘅美好回憶。📸

返到酒店後，可能 Choco 真係玩得太攰，佢竟然自己跳上張床，不到 5 分鐘就瞓著咗！🐶💤

至於我，瞓到半夜竟然熱醒咗……唉😮‍💨

原來英國嘅熱天，真係可以比冬天更加可怕！😂❤️

20|A Little Summer Getaway Before Our Trip Back to Hong Kong 🏖️🐶

The summer holidays are finally here! This year, we chose to return to Hong Kong to visit family and friends. We also wanted to take Jason back to some of the places he used to visit when he was younger. It has already been four years since he last returned to Hong Kong, so I’m sure this trip will bring back many special memories and give him a whole new experience.

This was also our last short trip together with Jason’s dad. From September, he will be returning to Hong Kong to live, so we wanted to make the most of our time together and cherish these moments as a family.

And this time, we had a very excited new travel companion — Choco! 🐶💕
It was his very first trip away, and he was so excited and full of energy throughout the whole journey. He was absolutely hilarious! 😆

As soon as Jason finished school, we made the most of our time and headed into the city centre for a meal at Ki Hing Café. We had seen many people online saying that the food was really good, so we decided to give it a try.

I introduced everyone to stir-fried beef rice noodles (Beef Chow Fun). It is quite rare to find a dish in the UK with that authentic smoky wok hei flavour, and everyone loved it! 😋

As for Choco, he saw us enjoying our food and seemed to think that he was going to get some too, so he became extremely excited! Jason and I had to keep him between us because we were worried that he might suddenly jump over and try to steal our food 😂

Eventually, when he realised that he was not going to get any human food, he looked very disappointed and lay quietly beside me. Seeing his little sad face, I had no choice but to give him a few dog treats to cheer him up! 🐾

After dinner, I drove for around three hours before we finally arrived at our hotel near Stonehenge. The location was very convenient, and for just an extra £25, Choco was allowed to stay with us too, which was perfect!

After dropping off our luggage, we immediately took Choco to see Stonehenge.

Before setting off, everyone had done their homework. I asked ChatGPT, while Jason’s dad asked his colleagues. Everyone said that there was no real need to buy tickets to go inside — seeing and taking photos of Stonehenge from the outside was already more than enough, unless you really wanted to get close enough to see all the details and markings on the stones! 😆

By the time we arrived, it was already around 6:30 p.m. Luckily, it was summer, so the sky was still bright.

We slowly drove along the road towards the outer area and noticed many camper vans parked nearby. I’m sure some people were there for camping, while others may have been living in their camper vans for a longer period. Some of the vans looked as though they had been parked there for quite a while, so it seemed that people were actually living there.

The moment Choco got out of the car, he became incredibly excited! 🐶💨
He pulled us along like a little bull and kept running ahead. You could really feel how excited he was about his very first trip! 🤣

We slowly walked along a small path beside Stonehenge. Along the way, we noticed several small circles marked on the ground. Naturally, I became curious and asked AI about them.

It turns out that trees may once have stood in those locations many years ago. After the trees fell, they left holes in the ground. Archaeologists were able to study the soil and other evidence inside these holes to learn more about the environment at that time, so the locations were later marked.

As the sun slowly began to set, its golden light shone across the ancient stones and the surrounding grassland, creating a peaceful and slightly nostalgic atmosphere. 🌅

Meanwhile, Choco kept staring very intensely at the flock of sheep in the distance… 🤣🤣
I wondered if he was thinking:

“Which one should I eat?” 😂🐑

The sunset was far too beautiful to miss, so we made sure to take plenty of photos and capture these special moments. 📸

When we returned to the hotel, Choco was probably completely exhausted from all the excitement. He jumped onto the bed by himself and fell asleep in less than five minutes! 🐶💤

As for me, I woke up in the middle of the night feeling far too hot… sigh 😮‍💨

It turns out that a hot summer day in the UK can sometimes feel even more unbearable than winter! 😂❤️
